Fries are fun. Which made working on Lamb Weston’s social even more so. We got to experiment, get a little weird, a little wild, because with fries, you can. Even AI can’t mess them up. Everyone loves fries and it was a joy to play on that using pop culture.

I’ve always loved 2001: A Space Odyssey, and HAL remains one of my favorite villains. So when AI tools like HeyGen and Runway started taking off, I reimagined an iconic scene and had HAL take over an air fryer and refuse to let a guy have his fries.

I used the same AI tools, along with ElevenLabs voice cloning, to bring back a legend for an interview she never actually gave.

This one was a blast to make. It was created back in the early days of usable generative video AI, so it looks a little dated now but at the time, mid-2024, the brand was just finding its voice on social. I wanted to do something regional, Arabic-first. And even though I don’t speak Arabic, I’ve always loved how charmingly dramatic Arab pop music can be. So we made a campy heartbreak song about a universal truth: when your girlfriend says she doesn’t want fries, then eats yours. I used Midjourney, Runway and SUNO Ai to make this.

Alone is my favorite Edgar Allan Poe poem, so for Halloween, I gave it a crunchy twist through the musings of Edgar Allan Potato

For April Fools, I came up with a fake announcement that Lamb Weston was launching a french fry–scented designer perfume. I quickly edited a mock perfume ad to take the piss out of those over-the-top, artsy fragrance commercials.
